How to Get Here
Vis is not the easiest summer destination to get to – in our experience the best places never are, that’s why they avoid the crowds. We will pick you up from the ferry in Vis Town; a picturesque arrival that signifies the start your holiday.
There are a variety of travel options to arrive at Vis Town. The most common route to the island is to fly into Split, Croatia. From here you have a 30 minute bus/taxi to the Ferry terminal and then a 2.5 hour ferry to the Island. During the summer season the Jadrolinija ferry departs Split for Vis 3 times a day, costing approximately €5 for foot passengers and €30 for vehicles (no vehicle needed for your stay). We can provide you with connection times and would urge you to spend a few hours exploring the intriguing narrow streets of Split’s Old Town.
An alternate route is to Ferry from Ancona, Italy. Flying Ryan Air can be cheaper, however you will then have a 6 hour ferry ride. Should you have more time available there are a growing number of people that are driving to Croatia and enjoying several countries on the way.
