You’ve got the first hour done, the knee wobble is all but a distant memory.
Time to start walking the line!
The slackline is like any other new skill, its all about milage (time on the line) … keep stepping up! The time it takes from taking your first step to walking
the line varies from person to person but stick with the tips below and you will eventually get across.
The basic posture is something that you will keep coming back to.
Get your head up! Most people focus on a point on the tree or the end of the slackline, try not to look down at your feet.
Keep your knees soft! This will give you options to make adjustments.
Hands above your head! Stick them up … way up high! Its not a natural thing to do at this stage but you will soon learn to relax your arms and let them help
you maintain balance. If they are above your head its very natural for you to throw your hands over your centre line to make a balance correction.
Keep stepping up!
WearActive guests doing a great job on the line …. check out their focus!
