Experience early summer in the Hohe Tauern National Park during our Mindfulness, Walking & Yoga Week at MoaAlm Mountain Retreat in Kals am Großglockner. This special week combines a gentle walking holiday in Austria with mindful yoga practice and time to slow down in the mountains. Each day begins with a morning yoga session that gently awakens the body and prepares you for the day ahead. After a nourishing breakfast, our certified hiking guides lead mindful walks designed for those who prefer a slower pace. Compared to our regular Hike & Yoga holidays, the walks are shorter and involve less altitude gain, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the alpine surroundings. You will learn about the region’s unique wildlife, vibrant plant life, and cultural heritage—always with time to pause, breathe, and notice. On three afternoons, mindfulness workshops deepen your understanding of the practice and offer simple tools you can integrate into everyday life. On the remaining days, you may relax in the hot tub, enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the house, or simply take time for yourself. In the evenings, we gather for a three-course plant-based dinner at MoaAlm, followed by Yin Yoga on selected nights—creating a rhythm that is both active and restorative. This year’s Mindfulness, Walking & Yoga Week is offered in collaboration with Frauke Schroth, yoga teacher and expert in stress management. She will lead the yoga classes and workshops.
